Posting Guidelines:

>Titles need to appropriately identify the topic. If you need help with something, then you need to disclose what that "something" is. Topics that say "Help Needed" will be locked as that doesn't tell us what the topic of the thread is about.

>Please refrain from overusing the "Edit" button on your older posts, as it breaks up the flow of a thread and can easily confuse people. Simply keep your edits to recently made posts.

>New threads should be placed in the proper forum, if you can't find a proper forum for your topic then it probably doesn't belong here.

>Make sure your posts add to the discussion. Don't just go into a topic and post something like "What?" or "I don't care."

>Posts must be longer than one or two words.

>Likewise you also need to post more than single sentences of "yes i agree" or "i don't no", remember if you aren't contributing (contributing = helping someone out) then your posts are weak.

>Spam is not allowed here. According to most forums spam is considered posts that aren't helpful or useful.

>Don't call other people's posts spam, just report the post to a staff member by PMing them.

>Always post using the English language.

>Proper grammar is essential. If you don't use a noun, a verb, and perhaps a few adjectives, we probably won't understand you.

>Do not type the majority of your post or title in CAPS.

>Do not overuse any of the BBcode in your posts such as color, bold, italics, smiles, images, quotes, etc...

>Do not make a thread directed at a particular forum member. Threads named "phinal please help me" will be deleted. If you want to ask someone a question then use the Private Messaging feature.

General Conduct:

>Please refrain from using profanity.

>Any racist, sexist or homophobic content will be deleted, save us time and don't post it.

>There will be no toleration for causing other users strife. If your actions result in Admin or Moderator intervention, you will have the options to either shape up or ship out.

>If you've got a problem with someone use PM's, don't start a thread saying “ZOMG [insert name here] IZ a st00pid n00b LOL”.

>Don't advertise unless first approved. If the reason for your post is to help yourself by increasing traffic to your site or a friends site, don't even bother as it will be removed. Linking to well known news sites such as pspfanboy or official sony sites are both acceptable. If there is any doubt contact the admin.

>Be sure to read the stickied posts in each forum (stickied posts are the ones that are white and located at the top of each forum) prior to posting. Many times people will post a question that has already been asked and the answers for commonly asked subjects are stickied so that people can find the answers a little easier.

Unsuitable Topics:

>These forums are a place in which the PSP is to be discussed, if you post something not concerning the PSP it will be removed.

>Absolutely no 'Best' or 'Worst' demo/firmware/game/theme/etc threads. Everyone's point of view is unique and if you want to know someone's opinion then perhaps you should PM them. If these threads are seen they will be deleted without warning.

>No discussion of following topics;
-ISO's
-Homebrew
-PSone game downloads
-PSone license files
-Music downloads (unless approved)
-Video downloads (unless approved)
-Custom Demos (reason below)
-Custom Firmware (reason below)

>No discussion of any sort of distribution of copy righted material that prevents the owner of the material from being paid for the product. Copy righted material includes audio, video, games, or programs.

>No discussion of Custom Demos, as such Sony holds the rights to the .pbp Eboot format and does not sanction any alteration of said format without contractual permission. Basically, no more talking about Custom Demos, Hex Editing, or Flashboots.

>No discussion of Custom Firmware, it has come to my attention that nearly every custom firmware uses reverse engineering to steal code that was rightfully Sony's and then allows for others to deface their property/code. This is indeed illegal in many countries which have reverse engineering laws to stop people from stealing a companies work.

>No discussion of downgrading, we don't want to be responsible for damaging anyone's system if you are interested in pursuing downgrading you should google "n00bz 3.50 downgrader" ... you'll find Noobz's site and they are the ones responsible for the latest downgrader.
