Re: How do you put music on your hdd
There are 3 ways to play music over your Xbox 360 and 1 way to store music on your 360
How to Stream music
1. You can use a flash drive in any of the 3 usb ports
The 2nd way is complicated so here is a step by step process on how to.
Your PC and Xbox must be hooked up to the internet at the same time via router or hub (Wireless is fine)
Make sure you have Windows Media Player 11
In Media Player 11 choose the arrow under Now Playing then choose More Options a little window pops up, from in there choose the library tab then click the configure sharing button, another window appears check the Share My Meda box
From here choose the settings button in the smaller window and check the box Allow New Devices and Computers Automatically.
On your 360 search for a windows based PC (NOT WINDOWS MEDIA CENTER!!!)and after it connects check under the Configure Sharing button and make sure a 360 icon appeared then enjoy your music on your 360 from the Media Blade.
If it did not work then repeat again.
The only way to store music onto a Xbox 360 HDD is by CD otherwise follow my tutorial on how to stream.

No you have to use Either Windows Media Player 11 or the Microsoft Zune Software. iTunes doesnt work because it isnt owned by Microsoft it is owned by Apple also if I am going to make a good tutorial so if you can hang tight you will get a link to a tutorial in a second
