PS3 at security? Empty PS3 at security?

Since home security is a problem in some areas. Now I was thinking if you had a Location Free Player could you connect a web cam to your PS3 and LFP to moniter your home from a distance? Would there be any problem getting a vid and useing it in case of a problem.

Well I think it would be easier just to set up a security cam. But that's a good idea. But only a dumb thief wouldn't steal a ps3.
